Cambodia Medical Mission 2026.

Six years of love. Deeper roots. A mission that keeps coming back.

The IHM 2026 Cambodia Medical Mission team

In July 2026, IHM returned to Cambodia for our 6th Annual Medical Mission — and what we found was not just the communities we had left behind, but the proof of everything we had worked toward together.

Six years ago, we stepped into the floating villages of Tonle Sap for the first time, humbled and hopeful. This year, we returned as family.

Six years of
Healing.
Six years of
Learning.
Six years of
Coming home.

By the Numbers

  • Patients served across multiple communities in Cambodia — numbers to be finalized.
  • Medical services spanning general medicine, dental, optometry, pharmacy, and pediatrics.
  • Full health screenings for every student at the IHM Providence School.
  • Continued care for families in the floating villages of Tonle Sap.

Every number tells part of the story. But the real story lives in the spaces between the numbers — in the quiet moments when a child looks up at a doctor and feels, perhaps for the first time, that someone traveled a great distance just to see them.

Mission Week

Medical Clinics

Our volunteer doctors, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, and nurses set up clinics that drew hundreds of patients each day. From chronic illness management to vision screenings, each service delivered was a life made a little lighter.

The Floating Villages

Once again, our team took to the water — navigating between the floating homes of Tonle Sap to reach families who cannot reach us. These boat visits carry more than medicine; they carry the message that no one is too far, too forgotten, or too unreachable.

Student Health Screenings

Every child at the IHM Providence School received a thorough health checkup. Because we believe that a child who feels well can learn well — and a child who learns well can change the world.

What Six Years Looks Like

When IHM began, the Providence School was a dream sketched on paper. Today, our students rank among the top performers in local public schools. The Sharon Botkin Family Center — inaugurated in 2025 — is already a hub of learning and community.

  • 6 years of consecutive annual medical missions
  • 2 schoolhouses built and operating
  • 150 families resettled from the lake to safe, dry land in Tri An Village
  • Students now pursuing vocational training and further education
  • A community that calls IHM not just a mission, but family

Six years ago, we asked: how far can love reach? Today, we know the answer — as far as you are willing to go, and then just a little further.

With Gratitude — Our 2026 Mission Team

To every doctor, dentist, nurse, optometrist, pharmacist, coordinator, and volunteer who gave their time, skill, and heart to this mission: thank you. You are the reason IHM keeps coming back.
